What kind of wood is it?
Premium kiln-dried mixed hardwood, cut into neat, uniform pieces that light easily and burn clean.
How much wood do I get?
About 7 cubic feet, neatly stacked in your Neighborwood Rack.
How many fires is that?
About 7 to 9 fires for most people. It varies with fireplace size, how long you burn, and how many logs you use.
Is the wood kiln dried?
Yes. Kiln drying brings moisture down so the wood lights easily, burns hotter, and makes less smoke.
Is delivery really free?
Yes. Free local delivery in Darnestown, Maryland. The only addition at checkout is Maryland sales tax.
What is the Neighborwood Rack?
A simple V-shaped storage rack made from one cinder block and two solid pieces of wood, about 4.5 feet of footprint and 16 inches deep.
Do I keep the rack?
Yes. It comes with your first Neighborwood and it's yours permanently. Refills are just wood.
Where can the rack go?
Garage, unfinished basement, patio, or outside. Tell us where and we'll stack it there.
Can it stay outside?
Yes. The rack includes an integrated plastic weather cover.
What if it rains or snows?
Normal rain or snow doesn't stop a delivery. If conditions are genuinely unsafe we'll reach out and reschedule.
Do I need to be home?
Not usually. If your instructions tell us how to reach the spot, we'll take care of it and send a photo when we're done.
Where will you stack the wood?
Wherever you choose at checkout — and you can add notes or a photo of the exact spot.
How do refills work?
Order a $99 refill online, or scan the Neighborwood Button on your rack and pick a day.
What is the Neighborwood Button?
The durable QR tag on your rack. Scan it and your refill is mostly filled out already.
Can I schedule automatic refills?
Yes — every 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks at the regular $99. Pause, skip or cancel anytime. Auto-refill turns on with accounts.
How does Give $20, Get $20 work?
Share your link. Your friend gets $20 off their first order, and you get $20 in credit after their delivery is complete.
